So after checking out each site, FH and I decided that the best one for us was Wedding Window. They offer both free and paid templates and super helpful digital planning tools to stay organized. We ultimately bought the Savvy package because we wanted 1) access to the premium templates 2) the site to be live for 2 years 3) the keepsake DVD of the site. Wedding Window also allows you to have your own domain so FH decided to buy our domain name on Go Daddy (pretty cheap, only $10 a year).

Building out the website was a fun but long process. We had over a year and a half until the wedding when we bought the site earlier this year so were luckily able to take our time. Wedding Window has over 30 pages you can choose from to include on your site for everything from ceremony & reception location details to a page solely dedicated to your registries. We chose to use only 15 of the pages (mostly because we thought that 30 pages of info was probably too overwhelming for most people to absorb). The site is super customizable, down to changing even the font colors, which I decided to make teal to match our overall wedding color scheme. Here is a demo link from the site (this is obviously not our page so don’t get confused lol);

I worked on pretty much all the pages for our own site but FH wrote his bio and the proposal story (which was actually quite sweet!) And the hard work paid off–when we sent out the Save the Dates, which included our website link, we got a ton of compliments from our guests on how much they appreciated and enjoyed the site :)
